A few years ago, deep in the Polish woodlands, I met a healer. When I admired his silk shirt—mentioning my background in textiles—he smiled and told me it was his energetic armor. “Sometimes, strange spirits come with my clients,” he said. That moment stayed with me.
Inspired by his words, we created the Armour Shirt—a garment meant to shield, soften, and strengthen.
Crafted from silk bamboo and hand-dyed in our London studio, each piece carries the grounding energy of oak, long believed to hold protective power and serve as an antenna to the higher world. The soft, smoky purple hue is coaxed from oak and a botanical blend, giving the shirt its quiet, elemental strength.
Each one is made in small batches—seasonal, imperfect, alive. No two are ever quite the same. Cut in a generous, oversized silhouette, it’s designed to move with you.
